Wallet Auto Debit - Terms of Services

These Auto Debit Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the auto debit feature (“Auto Debit”) along with our privacy policy, cookies policy, and other policies as updated or changed in our sole discretion from time to time) set out the terms and conditions for your access and use of the Comera Pay App, Website, and Services and they are a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”, “Customer”, or “User”) and Comera Pay (the “Agreement” or “Terms” or “Terms of Use”).
1. Authorization
By enabling Auto Debit, you authorize us to automatically deduct payments from your Wallet for the specified recurring transactions or bills as set up by you. This authorization will remain in effect until you modify or cancel the Auto Debit feature in accordance with these Terms.
2. Eligibility
To use Auto Debit, you must have a valid Wallet account with sufficient funds to cover the recurring payments. The Wallet account must be in good standing and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Setup and Activation
Enrollment:
You must complete the Auto Debit enrollment process by providing the required information and authorizing the recurring debits. This includes specifying the payee, payment amount, frequency, and start date.
Activation:
Auto Debit will be activated once your enrollment is processed and confirmed by us. You will receive a notification confirming the activation of Auto Debit.
4. Payment Schedule
Frequency:
Payments will be deducted from your Wallet on the schedule you specify (e.g., monthly, weekly).
Amount:
The amount to be debited will be as specified during the setup of Auto Debit. Any changes to the payment amount must be updated through your Wallet account settings.
5. Insufficient Funds
If your Wallet does not have sufficient funds to cover a scheduled payment:
The transaction may fail, and you will be notified of the failure.
You may be responsible for any fees or penalties incurred due to insufficient funds.
We may attempt to process the payment again at a later time.
6. Modifications and Cancellations
Changes:
You can modify the payment amount, schedule, or other details of Auto Debit by updating your settings through your Wallet account. Modifications will take effect as specified in your account settings.
Cancellation:
You can cancel Auto Debit at any time by accessing your Wallet account settings and disabling the Auto Debit feature. Cancellations will take effect within a reasonable timeframe after your request is processed.
7. Notifications
You may receive notifications for each Auto Debit transaction, including successful payments and failed transactions due to insufficient funds. Notification preferences can be managed through your Wallet account settings. We recommend enabling notifications to stay informed about your Auto Debit transactions.
8. Liability
User Responsibility:
You are responsible for ensuring that your Wallet has sufficient funds to cover the scheduled payments. You must regularly review your Wallet account to ensure all Auto Debit transactions are accurate.
Company Liability:
We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from insufficient funds in your Wallet, incorrect setup of Auto Debit, or any other user errors. Our liability is limited to cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your financial information and transactions. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Wallet account credentials and promptly reporting any unauthorized use to us.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from the use of Auto Debit will be resolved in accordance with our general dispute resolution procedures outlined in the Wallet’s terms of service. This includes mediation, arbitration, or other dispute resolution methods as specified.
11. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. You will be notified of any significant changes through your Wallet account or via email. Continued use of the Auto Debit feature after such amendments will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions or proceedings arising out of these Terms shall be brought in the courts of the UAE.
